If any of you out there could answer this for me, here it is.Would the Turnigy trackstar 110 9t 4370kv motor ( ) be faster than say the Turnigy trackstar 110 12t 3300kv motor ( ) in my Traxxas stampede Thank you for the input. One thing though, especially in a heavier car, you may need to gear down considerably, especially as both motors are basically 380 size motors in a 540 size casing, hence the cooling ribs on the side.
Trackstar Rc Motor Full Blown 540This means these will have less torque than a full blown 540 size motor, which has a smooth can. Probably something with a lower rating like the ones you referenced especially if you ever want to run 3s. Anyways I have been happy with the quality of the Castle system. I just want a somewhat cheap motor to get me going FASST thanks. First, an RC car driving at 60 mph will be out of sight pretty soon. Just for comparison, this is one of my cars, and its doing only 44 mph (top speed reached around 0:44). Imagine running higher speeds than this on some terrain, with a car that has higher center of gravity, it will probably go ballistic. So can i just have suggestions on a motor that will get me to 60 with a 3s lipo. Not really sure how fast either of these are but they are plenty fast. Both will fly across a wet muddy grass field that is about 100 yards within seconds. Upgrades shocks and tires on the Slash make that happen with ease. I will post any vids and gps updates in the respective threads for the Slash and Uno. Trackstar Rc Motor Free Ice CreamIts been like 10 degrees but says free ice cream on the side. If thats what you go with, or any motor for that matter, be sure to monitor your temps. Changing motor sizes will result in gearing changes, use temps to help determine the right gears for your vehicle.
